Hermes delivered once well they say they delivered and left a card so the customer service agent told me. They soon backed down when I told them I would send a dvd of the failed delivery as we have CCTV and I took the day off work. I think all the big named delivery companies have a big group of slapdash couriers that just don't give a toss. The item you sent with us is not excluded from protection, or prohibited from sending; Only the person who booked the delivery in question can make a claim. You will not be able to make a claim if you are not the contract holder.

We get about one delivery a week with Hermes, they NEVER deliver in the time slot they say - and that can be at 9pm which is a total pain esp when it has NEVER been delivered at that time. Latest yesterday they did not deliver at all because they alleged no-one was at home - a complete fantasy - we were there the whole time, the gate was open, the house door was open and even a note on the threshold to tell them we were home and to leave parcel on the threshold. Do not use them. All our mail orders will now specify 'please do not deliver with Hermes'.
